May, sun, summer fun!

May has always been one of my favorite months!  Its still spring, but you have those days that hint, summer is almost here!  The last week we have had beautiful weather.  We were able to go swimming Monday night when Devin got home.  Paislyn loves playing outside in the warm weather.  Its been so nice to get her out of the house and let out some of that energy!

 Soaking up the sun!
When my parents came to town we took the tram to temple square and then later that day we went to the new shopping center right next to the temple.  We found this really cool play area in the food court.  Paislyn was beside herself, she had so much fun!

It has been so nice these last few months to have Jordan so close to us.  She is in Rexburg, which is about 3  1/2 hours away.  But we have seen her almost every other weekend it seems.  Paislyn loves her aunt Jordan!  She never falls asleep with me holding her anymore :(  But this was an adorable picture!
I can't wait to see what else this summer has to hold!  We have a season pass to 7 peaks!  I'm really excited about this.  It will be a lot of fun, hanging out in the sun all summer!  Baby number 2 is scheduled to arrive June 14th. That is only like 4 weeks away, I can't believe it!  We can't wait to have the little bundle of joy in our home!  I'm hoping that I will go earlier!  Fingers crossed!

This little girl makes me SMILE!

Easter weekend we had such a good time. Saturday night we colored eggs with Devin's cousins. Paislyn had a lot of fun. Needless to say she wasn't very soft with the eggs, she smashed up her egg into so many little pieces. I wish I had my camera during that. On Friday I took her to an Easter egg hunt at the Church. She was so fun to watch. They had most of the eggs in clear site, because most the kids were under 3. They only hid some eggs for the older kids, and Paislyn. She noticed one egg hiding in a stack of chairs as soon as we walked in and so that is the only place she would look. She found 12 eggs in those chairs. She was so excited! She watched me fill some eggs before we went so she knew what was inside. So when she would find one, she would throw it on the floor to open it up, and then chase the candy. It was so cute! On Sunday, Devin and I hid her basket and more eggs on the balcony.  She loved finding all the eggs!
About a week ago, Paislyn starting running a really high fever and she had an awful cough.  So we took her into the doctor. Joyful day, she had an ear infection.  Up to this point she has always been a healthy little girl so it was really hard watching her be this sick.  Sunday we stayed in our pjs all day and she would fall asleep anywhere!  But she was attached to her daddy!

This is Paislyn sleeping sitting up leaning against Devin.  I told you, she could have slept anywhere that day!
Paislyn is in love with her sunglasses!  She loves to where them, and knows she looks so cool!

While Jordan was at our house, Paislyn only wanted to be with her. She loves her aunt Jordan. In this picture she was showing Jordan what the monkey says. And in the picute below she was showing her what the snake says. The snake is her favorite right now.

She learned to do the ssssssss about a week ago and it makes her so happy. If we ask her to do it she gets that big smile on her face. Another thing that she is loving right now is singing. We do the wheels on the bus about 20 times a day. Her favorite verse is the "mommies on the bus." She does so good at shushing us. That verse I would say gets done about 30 times a day.

Baby is one of her favorite toys. She loves wrapping it in blankets and

feeding it a bottle. She is going to be such a good helper!

Any time Paislyn hears
music, she is up and moving. She loves to shake it! She has been like that ever since she could sit up. When music was playing she was bouncing or shaking her head. When she started walking it just got more intense. One of her favorite things to do is turn on music and dance. It is a great exercise for me, she gets her energy out, and she loves every minute of it. Win! Win! Jordan stayed with us Friday night on her way back to school. We went shopping and then to Wingers to get dessert. While in the car, Paislyn was having so much fun dancing. When we got home she still had a lot of energy, so we put on music and let her go. I don't know where she got these dancing skills, but i think she is the best dancer I have ever seen.  I have been trying to upload a video of her dancing!  So check back soon!

April is here!

April is here and we could not be more excited! 1)Easter Sunday! Paislyn is old enough this year to decorate eggs and go on egg hunts. It is going to be a lot of fun! 2) Deslie is coming to visit us for a few days the week after Easter. She has a conference in Salt Lake so she gets to spend some time with us! 3) the week after Deslie visits the whole Thomas family will be here for Tereza and Clayton's wedding. So we get two weeks full of family! I am just so happy to have them all here. 4) right now I am about 2 1/2 months away from having our baby girl!

We are getting anxious to welcome our little bundle of joy into our home. We have decided on the name Railee. But we have not decided how to spell it yet. There is so many ways that we could spell it. Railee, Raeley, Railey, Rayleigh Rayley. We just have to decided which we like better. Her full name will be Railee Anne Billman. Devin came up with this name, and I fell in love with it. I have always loved the name Riley, but it is getting to popular and gender neutral. Before we got married Devin always like the name Bailey, but I wasn't a big fan. So when Devin came up with this name I was so excited. Middle name is from both sides of our families. My mom and Deslie's middle name is Anne. My Grandma Holden's name starts with ANNEtte, Grandma Thomas's name was DeANNa and Devin's Grandma is named Ann. So we decided to go with Anne! The doctor mentioned he would be willing to induce me on the 16th of June, which would be on a Saturday. So I'm going to try my hardest to get him to induce me on the 14th. That way Devin can be home Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. My mom is going to be coming for a week once the baby comes as well, so that will be great.

Well for an update on our ever growing toddler. She has so much personality and so much attitude its hard keeping a straight face when your around her. She is so smart and picks up on things so easy. Devin ordered her a kitchen play set online, thinking we would wait for her birthday. But we got a little to excited, so we caved and set it up early. (haha her b-day is in August) She absolutely loves it and it keeps her so entertained. It will be nice to have once the baby comes, that is if she is still entertained by the whole thing. It was quite the project that we started on. Devin started working on it at 9, and then once I put Paislyn down at 9:30, I helped. We finished the project about 11:30. In the morning Paislyn saw it and her face lit up with excitement. It was like Christmas morning!
It is very hard to get any good pictures of this little one. She is always moving, jumping and dancing, that a good picture is hard to capture. I have to keep my camera on the sport setting just to get a few good pics in.
This little one loves to get dressed up and get her hair done. Of course with this obnoxious little one the style only last about an hour. She loves sitting in the chair by the mirror and watching me do her hair.

She started this new thing, where she loves to sit on the spare bed in her room and read. Which I love by the way, because she will sit for an hour or so reading books all by herself. Its like an extra nap time almost. YAY! She will sit with her blanket, the sheep GG gave her, and all her books and just read and read. She will crawl to the light and turn it on. Then go back and read, and then crawl to the light and turn if off. Then back to her spot to read. It keeps her so entertained! I LOVE IT!

Devin has a game on his I pod, where you try to throw paper into a garbage can. Paislyn loves this game! It is so much fun to watch her play!

Devin and I feel so blessed to be where we are! Devin loves his job, and of course I love being able to stay home with my crazy little princess. We have a really great ward, that we are enjoying. We have a wonderful little girl with another on the way, and we are so excited to see our family growing. I feel so blessed to have the husband and daughter that I do. I feel blessed and humbled to think that I get to be the mom to two wonderful girls. It is pretty overwhelming but I can't wait to see what life has to offer!

Well it is feeling like Spring!! I am so excited about the warm weather and I cannot wait for summer days to spend outside with this little one. Staying in doors is getting really hard for Paislyn. She gets so bored staying indoors all the time. She stands by the sliding screen door and cries to go outside. So we bundle her up and let her out on the balcony, while I sit on the couch wrapped in a blanket. So I have had to find ways to entertain her. One way to entertain a toddler is shaving cream and food coloring! She is entertained for hours. She then gets hungry and starts eating the cream so we have to call it quits.
When Paislyn is ready to go outside she puts on this hat and stands by the balcony. She was entertained for quite awhile pulling the box outside and then inside. She is in her own little world half the time, I wish I knew what was going on in that adorable little head.
Paislyn and I took a trip to Colorado, and Devin stayed home to work. So when we got back, Paislyn would not leave his side. She missed her daddy!
The day we got back from Colorado we went miniature golfing. Paislyn loved it. Her first putt.
After she went she would go collect all the balls. It was hard for the rest of us to get our turn in, but she was having way to much fun we didn't care.
While we were in Colorado Paislyn tried on Babo's hat. She is so darn cute!
We had to much fun in Colorado. We were there for 9 days, and it was so nice to see family and friends. Paislyn had so much fun hanging out with Honey and Babo! She helped Babo with the horses and wasn't quite sure what to think of them. Honey took her swimming and she had so much fun! It was a great trip.

So I'm not sure when this picture was taken but I thought it was really cute, but I can't remember for the life of me if someone was there to catch her.
That face is just to cute!
Paislyn is growing up so fast. I miss my little baby, but am so excited about the things she is learning. She is so much fun and Devin and I have so much fun watching her grow and learn. She is a very independent little girl who is not scared of anything. I guess the only thing she is scared of right now, strangely, is the bath. She used to love it, but lately we can't get her to even sit down in the bath. We don't know what happened because 2 weeks ago she loved bathing and would play in the bath for ever if we let her. Hopefully she will get over this fear soon.
Well Devin and I are doing great. Devin is enjoying his job, and comes home happy and stress free! YAY! We are looking for a home right now, but Salt Lake County is so expensive, that homes in our price range are far and in between. We are hoping to be in one by the time our little girl comes, but we are not sure if that is going to happen. So keep your fingers crossed. Either way we are excited about what the future holds. We feel so blessed already that it is hard to complain about living in an apartment. So life is good we are enjoying this wonderful time in our lives!

Always Paislyn

So every post that I do is always about Paislyn. But really, with a cutie pie like this, what else would we write about. Oh and in 5 months we will have another little girl to write about!!!! We are so excited and feel so blessed to welcome another little girl into the Billman home. As for Paislyn she turns 18 months on February 20th, and we get to send her to nursery. HALLELUJAH! We love her fun spirit and crazy personality, but I can't remember the last time we listened to the lessons being taught. So off to nursery she goes! A little update about her:

She is now speaking more and more. Some of the words she says the most is:
Thank you, Please, NO!, Got you, water, Daddy, Mamma, book, Grandma, Babo(grandpa),
Up, down, tickle, and on.
She knows where her head, belly, nose, toes, and ears are. She knows when to get her diaper for us and wipes. When we ask where her shoes are she goes right to the closet, also if I ask if she is hungry she will run right to the pantry.
She loves cereal, rice crispy treats, dolls, daddy, her blankets, mac and cheese, cheese, hot dogs, dancing, dancing, music, cartoons, eating breakfast by mom in the morning, and anything where she can be the center of attention. She is super talkative, when dad comes home from work she gives him a play by play of her whole day. You can only imagine how cute that is! She is crazy, obnoxious, full of energy, and a so sweet!!!!
She loves her baby, and loves to wrap it in blankets, towels, and whatever she can find.
She is going to be such a good big sister!
Amused by the camera
She is no longer a baby. *tear*
Look at that face, she is up to something!
On the roof of the conference center
Temple square on saturday
This is paislyn for you. Going under the rope, when it say not to.
Loves slides, and was telling Devin NO, NO because he wouldn't let her go down yet.

She has so much fun on slides
She is just so cute
Ringing a bell at the park outside our apartment.

The future will be better tomorrow!

2011 was a great yet stressful year for me and Devin. The first of the year we moved to Post Falls, and it was such a wonderful adventure. We had our ups and downs living there, but it made us stronger as a couple and family. We were able to learn to be without family and rely on one another. Paislyn hit so many mild stones while living in Post Falls, it was sad to say goodbye to our home where she grew so much. In July we moved to Rexburg for a month and then back to Rigby for another 2 months. We love Rigby and hope to someday move back. While we were living in Rigby, Devin's job became scarce and he was finding work with his dad. So we had to find something different and more stable. In November we moved to Herriman, Utah. Devin is loving his job and we found out we are having another baby. So there has been times of stress but we just kept our Faith and stayed true to what we know and have made it through. 2011 has been one of those years where so much as happened and I feel so blessed for the lessons I have learned.
I never really make New Years resolutions because I know I won't stick to them. 2012 I hope to change that, and so far (for a week) I have stuck to them. I hope to make 2012 as memorable as I can. This is such a special time in my life, I want to be able to look back on this year with no regrets and no missed moments.

Resolutions for 2012:

1. Don't just read my scriptures daily but study study study!
2. Read the whole Book of Mormon with the family!
3. Take more pictures and learn to take better pictures
4. Play my guitar more
5. Sew more
6. Finish this list with Paislyn before the year is over
1. Spend more time outside
2. Go to the zoo
3. Read 100 different books with her
4. Go to the library weekly
5. Go swimming more as a family
6. Take her to the sand dunes in Colorado
7. Walk around Temple Square
8. Go camping
9. Go on hikes
10. Color more with her
11. Do more crafts with her
12. Have FHE every week
13. Explore more of our surrounding
14. Spend as much alone time with her before the new baby arrives
15. Laugh more

Okay so I know these don't seem hard to stick with, but I had to start small. First year of really trying to make and keep goals, I had to make it easy enough to stick with. I hope all of you have a great year!!
